Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126500LN
The Daytona is a chronograph: it displays the time and measures a separate duration using dedicated counters. This version combines a white dial, black bezel and Oyster bracelet, with full reference 126500LN-0001.
Read the counters before judging the design
Running seconds appear at six o’clock. The chronograph has a central seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at three and a 12-hour counter at nine.
What does the bezel scale do?
The tachymeter helps calculate average speed from the time taken over a known distance. Its numbers alone cannot give a speed without a duration and distance.
Power reserve is not battery life
This is a mechanical movement. About 72 hours is its approximate running time when fully wound, not a battery life.
